At Avega’s free health centre, on the site of the national headquaters of the genocide’s widows association, the orphans are often numerous to come in order to benefit from free consultations. Axel, aged 17, orphan without adoptive family, alone since his young age, is examined by Alfonsine Nyirakabimana, clinic nurse. As for many of the health centre’s young patients, Axel suffers from problems related to malnutrition.
