Catalina, member of the seropositive women network, visits the sick men in Esperanza hospital, one of the two buildings of the Americo Boa-Vida hospital dedicated to HIV. Catalina, like them, was hospitalized on several occasions. Once, doctors considered she was lost. Her husband left her when he acknowledged her seropositivity. She regularly comes to the hospital so as to raise the patients’ spirits.
