Katya Carina, 20, lives alone in her house of Murbento district. Unemployed, she survives thanks to the help of her family. Her sister, her husband and her child, then eight month old (both of them on the pictures), all died of AIDS. Katya was hospitalized here more than ten times. Activist of the seropositive women network and Luta Pela VIHda for eighteen months, she supervises three patients, who are at their home. In addition to these people, Katya frequently goes to Esperanza hospital to visit the in-patients.
