Women facing Aids

Cathy, leader of the seropositive women network, group of mutual assistance created by a women’s organization and Accao Humana, is led to the hospital by friends. For a few weeks, following a malaria crisis, the diseases have been connected. Her haemoglobin rate became too weak, she urgently needed blood.
She is supported by Cremilda (right), militant of Luta Pela VIHda, and Catalina, leader of the seropositive women network.
Cathy had never been hospitalized such a long period of time. This day, pessimism was required on her health. In 2004, two Accao Humana activists died.
