At the end of a meeting of one of Avega’s section from the province of Gisenyi (North-West) in the district of Cyanzadrwe, the local members and national leaders who have made the journey from Kigali, dedicate a few minutes to observing the 45 bodies of victims from the genocide, recently exhumed in the village. Avega is leader regarding the coordination of the victims and plays a major role in the process of exhumation, still on-going, as well as in the erecting of memorial sites.
